Haginotsuki Amadare Ishi wo Ugatsu Tokubetsu Junmai
HAGINOTSUKI AMADAREI SHI WO UGATSU TOKUBETSU JUNMAI

Fukui Yahei Shoten Brewery has a proud tradition of brewing sake that dates back to the mid-Edo period, over two and a half centuries ago. The name Hagi-no-tsuyu is said to have been bestowed on our brewery by the then-lord of the domain, and derived from the Japanese clovers (hagi) that bloom in abundance on the shores of Lake Biwa.
We believe that a truly delicious sake is not a means to get drunk, but rather is something to be savored. We strive to brew Hagi-no-tsuyu as a sake both rich and smooth, with a flavor that can be appreciated more and more with every sip, and a fresh finish so that one never tires of drinking.
Amadare Ishi wo Ugatsu is brewed by a traditional method known as tomizu-jikomi that dates back to the Edo Period. Experience a vivid, rich-yet-fresh flavor unattainable by modern brewing techniques. Amadare Ishi wo Ugatsu pairs wonderfully with all kinds of food, especially flavorful, savory dishes.
